Anyone over 40?

Hi, I will be 40 years old when I am done with my prerequisite for SUNY. Does anyone know if the Optometry schools consider age when inviting for interviews? I just want to know if anyone knows of someone who got in to the school at the age of 40. Thanks.

There were some older students in my class, but that was 20 years ago. Forty isn't that old. Now, if you were over 50, might be an issue, but even then, you'd probably still be fine.

As long as you show you want to be there, and you have the specs and aim to put in the time to graduate, they should not have any bias on age.
