Hi folks,
I took my part 1 computerised in October afterwhich I headed for a long vacation to India. Just got back couple days ago.... I plan on taking part 2.... anyone preparing for it???? I would be happy to share thoughts & ideas with a study mate......

i started with the dental decks.i am planning to study mostly with the dental decks and old papers.i read pedo once and OS is 1/3 rd .i am worried abput pharma mainly.have u heard about tufts"infamous"pharmacology nbde review?

if u get any info please let me know, and vice versa.
i wonder if only decks and old papers are adequate to get a high score.
there was this link in the dental section about someone who has completed his part 2 and was selling all the material.. he was also selling the tufts review.. but he was interested in sellling all the stuff together ..
so im sure its available .. well just have to hunt for it..
if i find anything .. will let u know.

Almost 100 flashcards to do.
I am almost done with those.
In surgical part, I took some heop from the text.
Rest of the things are very straightforward.
Planning to start Pharmac next.

i haven't got decks and papers yet. so i started with shaffers and old class notes and i have gone through some internet sites useful for part 2. i may get other materials within 2 weeks and i hope i can prepare well for march exam if i utilise the remaining time well. Be optimistic and study well.

When are you taking the exam? Are you taking paper based or the computer based test?

Also, sorry for repeating this over and over, but if anyone out there has unreleased ADA papers and the Tufts review in Pharma, all of us here in the forum will appreciate it if you can post about how to get copies.

What kind of material you bought online? I have just started preparing. Target date 1st week of April. Finished Behav sc, Prostho and halfway through restorative...from D Decks. Solved some released questions. But I doubt Decks and Released papers are sufficient for Par II prep. Any idea what else i should study...material/book/course? Being a hard-core oral surgeon it is really difficult to recap core dentistry after 10+ years!!

Any help appreciated. 😕 😕

Applied online last Jan 31 but to this day I havent received my ADA authorization letter but I called a week and a half ago and followed up my Part 2 app. It seems that they have a lot of apps to process. They replied that I called after a week and I was able to get my ID # for the exam (after 5 days)
Good luck on all those taking Part 2 in March.
