give me some advice please! international dentist doing AEGD, which specialty to decide on?

I'm an international dentist (born and raised in california but did dental school abroad) doing a 2 year AEGD.

i'm thinking about ortho and endo, really enjoy both.
what are things to consider that i probably haven't thought about?

i'm most likely planning to work in California, Nevada, or Missouri. Open to other places obviously.
