Anyone receive the NHSC Scholarship?

I have applied for the NHSC Scholarship (for 2013) and was wondering when I should expect any kind of communication? I know that the final day for them to inform you of receiving the scholarship is Sept 30. That is all they mention in their "application and guidelines" But that is a long time from now!

So I was wondering if there was anyone who has received it, that could let me know when their status changed or when they heard anything at all about the scholarship?
You input is greatly appreciated, nervously awaiting something here!

You should try the search tab. There are a few other threads about this. Usually the finalists are notified in August and then the people receiving the scholarship and told toward the end of September. I applied too. I'm not planning on hearing anything until then.

I got the NHSC scholarship last year. I currently go to Midwestern University. You should hear back saying that you were a finalist the beginning of august and i think i heard back saying I got the scholarship on the 30th of august. I think that everyone that gets a finalist email will end up with the scholarship but I am not positive on that. They don't do a good job letting people know that they didn't get the scholarship so if you are waiting to hear back in october then you prob didn't get it.
