i have the same question - and would the answer depend on if you haven't gotten an interview, if you had an interview and on hold, etc etc...

i think the answer to this always depends on your grades, regardless of your progress in the process. A 4.0 semester/quarter, then you should always send the update pre or post interview. 1 C and 3 B's, well....

I agree here. Make the decision to send your grades in based on your GPA. If it raises it, send them in. It it lowers it, don't send them in.

I don't know if there's a hard, fast rule on this but my thought was that if you still haven't heard anything from a school by the end of fall semester (interview or rejected), then perhaps sending the fall grades would show that you're trying to keep them updated because you're still interested in their school.

i think they wanna see the transcript no matter what, its good to
"update" your file
so send it in!

also if youre writing a thesis and stuff, they dont want a copy of that right? im not sure about this? they just want documentation that you got your degree right? thanks
