anyone sent their trancripts to aadsas and received by aadsas, how long did it take to appear on the aadsas website?

Yeah, i called yesterday since i sent my transcript out 2 weeks ago. They're just being really slow updating their webpage.

Hey I have a quick question....when u guys called what number did u dail....ADEA Customer Service at 800-353-2237, 202-289-7201.....cause I had a question about transcript and called that # and it took my call to Washington DC.....and the guy on the line kept on telling me that this is where they do Letters of Recommendation....and I was like so who should I call up for question for transcript....Customer Service right...but then emailed them got a reply after 2 days.....

so i am going to submit my application today or tommorrow so I can be in the 1st mailings to all the d-schools (June 1st). I wonder if I should even be worried about getting it in so soon if my online transcript status is still a big negative ghost rider. any thoughts? 😎

I called (800) 353-2237, that customer service line in DC you called.

No, the site said they had recieved my LOR (May 22nd - they were quick to announce that) before i paid them anything.

I had EVERYTHING in by about 7 pm EST on May 16th and it still says that my transcripts haven't been recieved. I'm 99.9% sure that my schools have sent them, AADSAS must just be slow...

I started an application last year and sent in all of my transcripts and LORs but never paid or submitted my app. They still received everything and it showed on-line as received, they just don't verify your coursework until you pay and submit.

I dunno if i'll be in the first batch (aadsas complete with lor and transcript may 24th) - I've heard that someone who submitted on may 25th last year was sent out in the second batch (not that it really matters for most people, but it does for me, since i need to interview as much as possible before i leave to study abroad)

Last year I sent my application out on the first day, and it took forever for transcripts to be validated and the application to be finally mailed out. Be patient and good luck.

Just to let you guys know. I met the dean of UCSF a few weeks ago who is also on the AADSAS task force. He said don't be worried about getting your application out by June 1st because the adcoms don't even start reviewing until sometime in August. As long as you have submitted your application and it is complete by mid July, you should be in the first wave. The adcoms can look at your application online whenever they want in addition to the mailing. So don't stress, just try to get it in by mid July.

When they say that all transcripts must be received for the AADSAS GPA to be calculated, I assume this is just the transcripts of COMPLETED courses, right? I'm taking a class this summer at a different institution and put the course under my "planned/in progress" section, along with my courses I'm enrolled in for the fall at my home institution. So, I'm thinking they'll go ahead and accept my transcript that I sent in and process my application, and then just add the transcript from the summer course. Did anyone else think about this, as well?

LORs are received but transcript still is not. LORs sent on the 26th, transcript on the 22nd. I tried to call AADSAS today but apparently they were closed for training! I am going to call back tomorrow to see what they say. I'll let everyone know if I get an update.

His name was Charles Alexander Ph.D and he is actually the associate dean of student affairs at UCSF. I also met the dean of UNLV today Dr. Ancajas, and i asked her when is the latest for apps to be sent to be considered early. She agreed that mid July is the latest you want everything in by.
As for the AADSAS task force. He didnt' really explain what it is. Its deans and or adcoms that give suggestions for the layout and questions that AADSAS asks.

Same here! I sent all my transcripts two weeks ago, and they should have arrived by now.

However, I checked the status this morning, and they have not received them yet.

I did read the Q& A section, and correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it says that it takes 10 days from the day they receive your transcript in order to show up online.

Yup, as of today, it still says "not recieved." I have a feeling that they won't have that site updated before 10 days are up.

So I called AADSAS this morning to try to work this little problem out. First, he told me that the LORs and transcripts are sent to 2 different offices. Therefore, there is no correlation in when each item is posted on AADSAS. Also, he said that the transcript office is currently working to post the status and that I should not be worried that my transcript is not posted as received. I assume that they receive your transcript, verify your GPA and then update the status. If so, then it will take a while after you send them your transcript to see a status update 👎 . He also said he has been getting many calls about this, so it is possible that AADSAS hasn't posted it for anyone. Considering nobody on this forum has said that their transcript has been received, I think we are ok. Regardless, I am calling back on Monday if there is no update.

I sent my transcript and 5 LORs the 16th...the 5 LORs are recieved, but my transcript is still "not recieved" on the status box. I don't think anybody got their transcript "recieved" online yet. Anybody?

*There has been a glitch in the application program in terms of the transcript information not being recorded under the “Status/Transcripts” which affected you being able to view the status of your official transcripts being received. Our programmers are working steadfastly to resolve the matter. The information regarding your official transcripts will be posted within the within a week or so. We suggest that you monitor the status area regarding your transcripts on a periodic basis.



*If you have delivery confirmation of your transcripts being received at our transcript processing center then that means we have received the materials and that would be your delivery information. Again, we just ask that you remain patient as that information will be implemented under the “Status” section.

holy crap! just checked again and this time it says recieved! Happy 😀

one thing though....I have two lines, the top line lists my school and that line says not received, but there is also a bottom line and it also list the same school with the same school code and it says "recieved" with the date. uhmmmm, what the heck?
-I'm happy and confused! haha this shiet is never going to be over!

i didn't use the transcript matching form or the LOR matching forms, i knew it was okay because they told me so. The worries are for if they actually got them or if they lost them. glad I don't have to worry much anymore...they got everything already 😀

I e-submitted my app on May 24th, they got my transcripts on June 5th, and my GPAs and coursework were posted on June 9th
