I was all about being a PT, but after volunteering more, I am trying to decide if it is for me. OT and Speech Pathology also interest me, but I am not sure yet. If anyone is looking into other medical fields, what are they? I really want to work and help people, I am not sure which exact job though.

If possible, shadow speech and occupational therapists. Other careers you may want to look into are: PA, and possibly pharmacy. Although, I find pharmacy to be a big snore. Also, some find nursing to be fulfilling. I think you need to look around a bit more before committing yourself as you seem a bit unsure and that is totally OK.

yeah I think pharmacy is quite boring too. Thanks for your tips!

you could also looking into becoming a podiatrist, optometrist, or a nutritionist. Pharmacy for me was also a bore. I was originally going to do pharmacy but decided to switch to PT. I would recommend shadowing as many of your options as you can, even if it's just for a day. I shadowed an optometrist for a day and liked it. It wasn't as active a job as being a PT, but I enjoyed it more than pharmacy. The optometrist I shadowed had his own business and was able to spend a good deal of time with his patients. He knew quite a few of them by name. It was a nice experience and a field I would recommend looking into. I think it would be my second choice after PT.
