hi i have also looked at apartments....its very expensive in boston dont you think?
i am probably going to go for a studio..as close as possible to the school
have you sent in your vaccination record?

i am also starting my term in april. i have one concern. i have taken my hepatitis vaccination in school in 2000 and then didn't take booster dose..do i need to take vaccine again? i had medical examination for my green card n i have that record...will it be same for vaccination record?
i am also looking for apartment...

For Green Card, you will have to take MMR, Varicella, Tetanus vaccination. As far as I know you need to show them titre. For HB, get your blood test done, where you will come know the anti HBs titre. That shows whether you are immune to HB or no. From there you take it.

I'm going to send the immunization form today. Yeah as you said staying in the city is expensive. I don't like to stay in the hussel, buzzle of a city. So want to stay in the outskirts & commute through Commuter rail. Anyways train system is good at Boston. For the same money you will have spacious apartment plus, during weekend you can relax little bit in the greenary. That's what I feel. I have read lot reviews about Boston city apartments, in most of the places they have roaches & rat problems. I don;t want to go through that headache.

i too saw the ratings...not enouraging!!
i have enquired into other apts further away from tufts...but most agents want me to contact them later.
which areas have you looked at...i have enquired into fenway, back bay and beacon hill.

I think you can contact financial aid office for this question. They are the best people to answer this question. Till now I have paid $5000/. Anyways that is included in tuition fees. Other than that nothing.

I searched for apartments at Norwood, Staughton, Beverely, salem, peabody etc. But even in outskirts it is expensive. Only thing is you will get better apartments to stay. I'm looking for apartments which are very close to commuter train stations.
