Anyone still receiving interview invites?

Are schools still giving out post Dec 1st interview invites? It has been very quiet for the past week. I guess the schools are probably wrapping out their pre Dec 1st interviews and holding on to post Dec 1st invites after the first batch of acceptance goes out and see how people respond??

I contacted one school that said they are resuming giving out invites in January and can stretch out to March. So, I wouldn't worry too much. Schools have to deal with their own finals, Thanksgiving Break, and getting faculty to make decisions on hundreds of applicants.

Yes, I agree with Thetoothhurts91. I think pre december interviews are probably wrapping up everywhere. Decision day is 19 days away so I imagine schools are making decisions about the pre-december interviewees before sending out post december interview invites.

I think schools like UCLA are still giving them out. I got an interview last Friday (11/7) for November 21. There was also nov 17 to choose from. But I guess the dates are getting limited.

Edit: Oops I totally misread the OP! I thought OP was asking about pre-dec, not post-dec. Sorry about that! But in that case, you have nothing to worry about! Lots of post-Dec are given out after Dec 1 🙂

Jokes aside. A number of the schools I applied to said they still invite students for interviews well into March.

There is absolutely still a chance!! Tons of schools continue to interview after December. We were just saying that pre-december interviews are coming to a close because a lot of schools start giving out offers on December 1st.

Hope has not been lost. It also helps to know that some individuals will get interviewed and choose another career path.
