Anyone take Kaplan and not do well on DAT?

I'm taking Kaplan now and I just wanted to know if anyone here has taken the course and your scores did not improve much when you took the actual test.

I wouldn't say I did horrible but I didn't do amazing either. I did the whole Kaplan deal and I did it well. 18 TS 19 AA 22 PAT.

you're going to have a ton of people who just sat through the class and tried to learn by er…"active listening" alone and didn't bother to do any work or studying outside of the class.

if you put in the time and take advantage of all their materials, you will improve your score with kaplan. if not... well they wont let that happen:

eehh. I didnt like my kaplan class at all. I feel asleep the whole time cause my teacher sucked. Partially my fault cause I didnt rememeber most of the material. Overall i think they may have some good stuff, but definatley dont rely solely on kaplan- unless you want a mediocre score(which may not be enough anymore). Study on your own and get the materials everyone on the board are talking about. Destroyer for sciences and achiever and topscore for practice tests.

Personally, I dont think the Kaplan has sufficient materials to help you do excellent on the exam. On top of Kaplan, I would use Top Score or Dat Destroyer. I used Kaplan to lay the ground and the other study tools to build up.

I took the kaplan class and felt that it helped me a lot especially because I didnt remember a lot of the basics. My teacher for the sciences was awesome and helped a lot which i think made a big difference. But i definitely feel like destroyer stepped it up a notch and made me confident about the material.
