Hey, I was wondering if anyone had taken TPR Hyperlearning MCAT course in order to prep for the DAT? I have heard TPR is better than Kaplan so I wouldn't really be interesting in the Kaplan DAT course and TPR doesn't offer a DAT course. I figure I could perhaps just skip the days that they review Physics and get some kind of refund.

I dont think you will be able to get a partial refund, besides they geared toward MCAT, which means no plant, taxanomy etc in bio section. Since MCAT is passage based and DAT is discrete questions then I'd assume its gonna be harder for you to adjust to passage based questions and try to solve problems like that. Also dont forget about PAT section. In all its up to you!

Yeah, I worried about that. One of my moms friends teaches part of a course and she suggested it as a good idea. I still think it would be helpful if I do some side studying too. I know on the site they said if you miss 40% or more of the classes you can get a refund of 40%, so I will have to see if that is plausible. I will probably end up just self studying though if I decide to do the DAT.

Just get the books off ebay. Thats what I used for Biology and GenChem and I did pretty well in those sections. Also supplement with AP Cliffs Biology. gl
