Anyone told to wait for first semester master's grades?

Just wondering if anyone was told by dental schools to wait for the first semester master's grades in order for the admissions committee to make a decision? ( Undergrad GPA on the lower side)

Haven't heard that yet , in a masters - low undergrad gpa here

What's the point of being in a master's if you have nothing to show from it at the time of your application?

I have a semesters worth of grades to show - this is why I started early summer and finished my app after all my grades were out
