Anyone using kaplan and taking the mcat in april/may or june?

I took a Kaplan course for my MCAT and got pretty good results. The one piece of advice I can give is that their verbal strategy is pretty bad. Never once did I have enough time to complete the entire section when using it. Get the Exam Krackers verbal book and 101 verbal passages and use those resources for verbal.

Thank you, Ethylmethylman. I'm sticking with the course for sure for all sections minus verbal. It is good to hear you did well using it. Gives me hope!

I also used Kaplan. They were quite good, but I would throw out their VR strategy. The BS and PS ones were excellent, but to me VR strat just wasted a ton of time haha.

I used Kaplan. I would agree that the VR strategy wasn't that great but they did provide a ton of timed VR tests which was nice. I found the Kaplan tests to be much more calculation based/memorization and I would score better on them than the aamc tests. and the real thing.

This is true. You should try to take all of the official AAMC MCATs that they provide you with.
