I found it extremely helpful in questions regarding management and next step type of questions.

Using Premier Review notes, Step 3 White Coat pocket book and UWORLD.

I'm tempted to go through World for Step3. I feel like it would help a lot with the difficult management questions.

hmm.. haven't thought about that one. But this book called "White coat pocket guide for Step 3" is amazing. It gives you algorithms for each disease with treatment. I found it to be right on point. The only thing is, is there anyone else using this book for step 2? I don't want to study something that is not going to be on step 2.

This book doesn't have the c.c.s stuff like MTB for step 3.

You will probably be dissatisfied with the result. Using Step 3 books takes you too far beyond the scope of Step 2. It will make you a better intern and I hope you learn something from it! However, the people who are successful using Step 3 materials for Step 2 are those people who not only have already been through the Step 2 material, but are also the type of people who can retain massive amounts of knowledge. They need extra stimuli.

If anyone has had a dissimilar experience, please post. I'm willing to bet that success stories with step 3 material are from the people who would have been a success story anyway. It wasnt the Step 3 material that made them, it was the person to begin with.

A few students use Master the Boards for step 3 in preparation for step 2, and seem to do well.

care to elaborate your experience with it?

Basically MTB Step 2 and Step 3 complement each other....I first read Step 2 and then went through Step3....STep 3 MTB has lots of same content as Step 2...but a good amount extra too...

It seems to work pretty well so far. A lot of the questions from Kaplan Q bank Step CK is gear towards Step 3 material minus the CCS part. So far I'm liking what i'm studying!

I'll give my review after the steps!
