Anyone using their GI Bill

Im currently military and will be taking prerequisites for pharmacy and just wondering if anybody used the GI Bill to pay for school when they got out. I think right now it is around 1200 with the top up so it should be enough.

It's actually $1004 per month but if you participated in the buy-up program, you get an additional $150 a month making it a total of $1154

$1154 a month is hardly enough for pharmacy school. That's going to probably just cover rent in Los Angeles. 🙂

oh.. and remember.. u only get paid for time in school.. so its more like 1154 x 9 (not 12) per year

It's not enough to cover all the expenses, but it is definitely going to help keep the student loan debt manageable.
