Hi,

I will be reapplying to med school after being placed on three waitlists this last application cycle. I was just wondering if anyone was willing to read my draft of my personal statement and offer any suggestions? I would really appreciate it!!

Thanks!!!

Good luck to all of us taking the MCAT in a couple of weeks!!

PM it. I am really busy, and I can't promise to go over it wilth a fine tooth comb, but I will give you some general suggestions.

I'd be happy to look at it and give you some suggestions. Also, try talking with an admissions advisor at a medical school-thats where I got help with my PS. They tend to say different things, though, depending on the school.

No problem. PM me and I'll read it over for you

i actually need some help too... a friend of mine who is a resident looked at my statement and critiqued/edited it last year..

the thing is.. my application got screwed big time last year... some stuff happened with my transcripts and AMCAS office, so the processing got delayed.. I have a feeling some schools really didnt look too much at my app (by the time it was processed it was dec/jan) 🙁

I did an MPH this year.. but I really feel strongly about the points that my statement made and think I can save my MPH position for 2ndaries...since it is more on my view on healthcare system and public health issues... rather than my personal story and desire to purse medicine..

i would appreciate any suggestions!

thanks!
