Thinking about interviewing with Bi-Lo, anyone have any experience with them?
Specifically, does anyone work for them in Charlotte,NC? Do they pay well? It's a very long drive to get there for an interview and don't want to waste my time for an extremely low offer (This happened with Harris Teeter).

Thanks for any input.

Hi - I'm not yet to the point of interviewing, but I did have a nice chat with a Bi-Lo recruiter at our career fair in Jan. I was moderately impressed - of course, they will tell you what you want to hear, but I liked what she had to say about the differences in their organization vs. how a pharmacist would practice in a large chain situation like I am in now. They do have a fairly limited geographic area, as you probably already know.

I also had a chance to speak with a Bi-Lo pharmacist in a smaller town in GA (we don't have them in Atlanta), and he had pretty good things to say about the company. I would imagine their hours are a bit longer in the Charlotte market since that's such a big city, but his pharmacy hours were something like 9-7 M-Sa and closed on S. For community, I thought that was pretty sweet - lot better than CVS/Wags hours.

Let us know how it goes.
