Anyone receive B's and C's in their prerequisites and still managed to get accepted?

Being that the average sGPA is somewhere around a 3.1, I'd say that quite a few B's and a few C's were earned during UG.

But what else should I do to get accepted? I've been shadowing a Podiatrist for 2 years and have just a little over 30 hrs of volunteering. I've worked in a hospital for 3 years as a patient transporter, and no research. What is missing?
