I have been trying to find the best approach to secondaries that ask: "If you believe you have something to add to your application, please provide details below."

At the moment there are two obvious approaches:
  1. If the secondary doesn't have a "why us" question, this optional area is an opportunity to tailor a narrative particular to the school.
  2. Update hours, extracurriculars, grades since primary submission
How should I approach this question if I already address "why us" in a separate question? With my average metrics, I want to take advantage of the optional space.

Do you have any unique experiences that you didn't touch on already that reveal an admirable personal characteristic about you? If yes, I'd write about that.

Be very careful of the wording of the question. If the question explicitly tells you not to write about anything that was in your primary, be careful not to say something like: "I did 50 more hours of volunteering at the hospital I'd been volunteering at." While you could interpret that as providing new information, they probably wouldn't look kindly on it.
