Hey Guys!

I am new to the site but glad I found it! Particularly with regards to the interview feedback. Fortunately, I have my first interview scheduled for February 14th at LECOM BUT was wondering if there is anyway to find out my status at other schools? I have been put on HOLD status and have been told that my application has been reviewed by the committee and pending further review.

Any body else with a similar situation?

AND

Do schools get pissed if you call them frequently for a status?

I am the type of person that has to take a proactive position with everything I do and waiting simply...sucks!

Thanks.

Good luck to everyone applying.

I don't think that schools will get pissed as long as your calls are within reason. Once I knew that my application was complete, I gave them a bit of time to get caught up on things. I think that being proactive is a good thing, but being overbearing may not be. Aside from calling, most schools communicate effectively via email. I know I would prefer to get an email that I can answer when I have time versus being in the middle of something and having to drop everything for a phone call. Also, several schools allow you to check your status online, if a school has this option--this should keep you from having to call frequently. (I would only call these schools on occasion to make sure they didn't forget about you).
