Anyway to fix this one!?

So yesterday for some reason it hit me that i made a slight error on my AACOMAS primary application. I just don't know if there's a way out of it now. Or if I can just let the schools I interviewed at know.

here's what happened...I took Philo. and Psych (2 classes/6 units) at a junior college. Now when I was filling in my grades for all the classes I have taken in the AACOMAS application, rather than filling in 2 A+'s for these two classes instead I entered "PASS" grades since that was what my university awarded me for not taking the classes at their university. now after thinking about it, I jacked myself for 6 units of solid A+'s and that just might bump me up into the next G.P.A. bracket.

anything I can do? anything I should do?

Last I heard, there was no such thing as an A+ in college. I know on the AACOMAS the highest number of quality points you can get is 4/unit. That being said, I would contact the AACOMAS people and ask them what to do. They should have gotten the transcripts for all of the colleges that you attended and should be able to change your application. I would definately ask them to send the updated records to any school where you've interviewed.

Think of it this way. If you made a mistake in the opposite direction, you would be legally and morally obligated to report it. I don't see why it shouldn't work the other way.

I called AACOMAS and they said they used my "A's" from my transcripts rather than what I entered so PROBLEM SOLVED.

This makes ya wonder why the hell they make us punch in all those classes and grades if they do it themselves anyway!?

I was going to say that they would catch the problem before they sent out your application, then I read your second post and thought... yep, AACOMAS is on the ball and doing their job.😀 That is why it takes time for them to go through our transcripts and application before they send it off to the schools.

if i were you, i would check over the sheet they send out to make sure the numbers add up then. i found an error i had on my transcript - i forgot to include my physics 2 class, and i got an A in it. well aacomas never noticed i was missing the class on there, and i had to get it fixed before the schools i was interested in would give me a secondary. so i hastily wrote an email to them, then i think i had to fax a signed request that they review it or something like that, then it was fixed and sent out again. but yea... they DO miss stuff....
