AOA internship approval

I know this has probably been beaten to death but I need help. I am a DO doing a MD residency and am only short of the continuity of care requirement for approval. Anyone able to get around this or any suggestions on how to get around it. I only have one elective and it is in my third year and I do not want to use it for a clinic month. Thanks.
