AOBFP vs ABFM Exams

I am very talented in OMM so I am considering the AOBFP, but want to know if it’s worth it vs the ABFM? Are the exams written the same question wise or does the AOBFP have the same horrible writing that the COMLEX has? Is one exam easier versus the other? How much OMM is on the AOBFP? Which one is better to take?

Lastly, if you take both do you have to pass both?

I went to a dual program and unfortunately my program required us to take both. I can’t remember if I thought one was harder but I do remember writing in the comment section a few times for grammar/spelling mistakes on the AOBFP exam.

As far as I know passing one is fine. Once I got my scores back that I passed the ABFM exam I realized it didn’t matter about the other exam and even forgot that I was still waiting for the score.

From a financial perspective it makes sense to be certified on one side only. Our DO assistant program director said the only reason to consider sticking with the AOBFM side of things is if you’re considering teaching at a DO school in the future.

I am just keeping my certification through the ABFM.

I figured the questions would be written better in the ABFM exam. Is there enough OMM on the AOBFP exam that makes it worth taking over ABFM since it’s my strength? Also, are we required to do the Practical position of the exam for AOBFP?
