If you get the Bio book from Cliffs notes are you set for the DAT?

Or are there any other books that you should look at that will be better to prepare for the BIO part at the DAT?

thanks

I relied fairly heavily on Cliffs AP Biology. It lacks in a few areas so I would recommend supplementing it with another source. Many here (including myself) recommend using DAT destroyer which is consists of a bunch of questions with thorough solutions. There is a lot to learn from answering and studying the answer choices of those questions.

While going through cliffs also look at the outline provided by the ADA for the biology section and make sure that you have each section covered.

http://www.ada.org/sections/educationAndCareers/pdfs/dat_users_manual.pdf

I made a post (DAT study plan suggestions) on how to study using cliffs and destroyer.

While you can never get too much practice, I believe the AP Cliff Bio + Kaplan Blue Book would be enough for the Bio section if you have a history of Biology (Bio major maybe with a few high level Bio classes?)

Destroyer is best for Chemistry (mainly Orgo) than anything, but again, can never get too much practice and I didn't do the best on Bio myself but if you are strained for time, just go AP Cliff + KBB IMO

I particularly liked DATQVAULT along with AP Cliffs.

DAT Destroyer BIO section is good practice, nonetheless too hard compared to the real DAT. While the the difficulty of it is way above the real DAT, but learning all the facts listed in BIO section inside out would be helpful regardless.
