AP Courses

Exactly as they are stated in your official transcripts. How do I enter credit from AP exams into the coursework portion of the application? They weren't taken at my university but they transferred as credits for equivalent classes.
AADSAS will change it if you deviate from what is actually written.

In my official transcripts, it doesn't list the separate AP courses, but kind of as one chunk and the units I was awarded for them. What should I do in that case?

My transcripts also had them like that. I tried to break it down but AADSAS changed it. If credit was earned for a prereq like English for example, I would also notify schools to avoid a delay when they look at your app and wonder where English is.

Damn they should just make a section in the app where we explain these things so we don't have to contact each school individually...

Your school might have special release form that you need to fill out separately. I did it to include all my advanced standing credits and IB credits.
Should I fill in NG (Not Graded) for the grade? or P (Pass)?
So confusing! My transcript just says transferred but that is not an option!
I put NG (no grade)

I called ADEA AADSAS customer service, and they said to label it as CR - Credit

Did you call your university's registrar office for the special release form? Cause I am having the issue of just seeing on my official transcript the transfer credits but not the college courses that they pertain to. Would I need to fill out a special release form if I am in that situation?

I actually didn't call but I visited them in person. They said there is a way for them to include those course numbers and titles and can send them directly to AADSAS, hence "official". Apparently one of my friend who applied for medical school last year did the same thing and AMCAS did accept them.

Oh okay I see. Unfortunately I don't live in the same city as the university. I'll give them a call first on Monday and see how I can go about doing this. Thanks for your help
