I've tried searching for a good 34 minutes now, and I need my fellow SDN members' help. I took about 9 or 10 AP classes in high school but passed only 5 of them (AP comprehension, AP psych, AP chem, AP government, and AP world history). If I passed AP chem, but took 2 semesters of chem in my first year of college, do I still need to list AP chem down? Also, do we need to list our AP classes that we did not pass or got no credit for? We list them in our freshman year right? Same thing for AP psych, in which I took psych at the 4 year I transferred to. I still will need to list AP psych down but also the class too? Im so confused. Part of me says just list everything down that is on my transcripts. What do you guys suggest?

Anything you did in high school means nothing. You could've failed all those AP classes but once you're in college, the entire slate is wiped clean (unless you have dual enrollment with a college, then those grades stay with you for life).

Anyways to answer your question, you only list the AP exams your school accepted (which is usually a 3+). For instance, if you took AP Economics and AP Chemistry, you got a 3 and a 2 respectively, then you would only list Economics in AACOMA.

Thanks Darklabel,

But if my schools accepted the gen chem AP test (I got a 4 on), and I still took 2 semesters of general chem with lab, and got As in them, then I list all three things down? the AP test and the 2 semesters? Same thing with AP Psych, which i was granted credit for at my community college, but still took general psych at the 4 year institution I transferred to since some DO schools like to see behavioral science coursework?

Yes, you list them down if they are dual enrollment courses or 2 semesters in a college. You also list the AP credit for both.

So you will put "AP Chem" (I believe theres a thing on the side that allows you to designate classes as being AP Credit based) and then list each class you took in college with the respective grade.

Ok sweet! thanks Darklabel. Btw, one random question, I took a class called ANT 151- Primate evolution. It was taught by the anthropology department and the description is as follows; "Origin and relationships of the prosimians, monkeys, and apes. ".
I would classify this as a non-bcpm course right? Because it is under the anthro department and very little bio was taught in it.
