One of my schools just mailed me back saying my application is on hold because I don't have Inorganic Chemistry fulfilled. I don't understand why, because I got a 4 on my AP Chemistry test and my university gave me 8 credits worth of Inorganic Chemistry [(PS)CHM STR BONDG REACT and CHEM/ANALYTCL PRINCPLS], which are the 2 inorganic classes required for a Biology degree, as well as the prerequisites for application to their dental school.
Has anybody else gotten these errors? Is it something that's easily solved when I just talk to the admissions office on the phone and point out that these credits/classes are ON my submitted transcript?
It seems like AP credits always bite you in the butt. They encourage it so much in high school, and it seems all colleges want to do is refuse to accept it =/
I'll be calling them in the morning, but I'm wondering if anyone else has gone through something like this. Thanks!
