Hi Guys,

Have been thinking of taking Apha membership, but a not sure how useful is it , other than looking good on my resume and for CE credits. At $239 per year .. its quiet a money!

Also a subscription to pharmacist letter at $89 per year. I work at walmart and they do have a subscription to it, but they don't give home access to the site.

Any suggestions?
Thanks.

I love, LOVE, LOVE Pharmacists Letter, but if you can get it for free at work I don't know how much value you would get out of having at home. Personally, I despise APhA and feel like it is a pretty worthless organization. For me as a hospital pharmacist I send my money to ASHP...in retail I don't really know which organization is best.

NOT WORTH IT!!!!

apha doesnt do jack **** to support the advancement of pharmacy. id recommend not supporting them. join a state group vs that. you can get CE credits anywhere. having APha doesnt really look good on your resume. work experience does.
