Who all is going to APHA in San Antonio later this week? Anyplace other than the Riverwalk or the Alamo that you plan to go?

I'll be there, making an extra long weekend out of it (Thurs-Tues) and can't wait to get back to some warm weather.

There are lots of things to do, see attachment sent out by APhA.

Midyear's never in the NE. The summer meeting is in Chicago this year, which is closer than any of those. Have you thought about ACCP's meetings?

I'll be there - I'm a student delegate to the APhA "Big House." Bringing the hubby and baby, too.

We lived in San Antonio for 2 years before moving back to Idaho for pharmacy school. We plan on hitting some of our fave restaurants that are off the beaten track, Thai Taste in particular (near the medical center). The Alamo Cafe is also pretty good (off of I-10 and Wurzbach). If you don't have a car, La Villita right off the Riverwalk is neat - lots of fun art galleries and shops.

Because you're in San Antonio, you have to check out the Alamo. But prepare to be a little disappointed - it's much smaller than you'd imagine!

I'm going! I'm not sure what we are doing. I'm just following the pack which is nice because usually I'm the one having to pick things to do. My class is renting a boat and getting some catered Tex-Mex on it so that will be fun!
