Apocrine metaplasia..?

What exactly is apocrine metaplasia..? Google tells me its "Transformation of acinar epithelium of breast tissue to resemble apocrine sweat glands, as in fibrocystic disease of the breast"

However, mammary glands are modified apocrine sweat glands. So what exactly is the metaplasia changing these luminal glandular cells into? [Definition seems to be saying its changing from apocrine like cells to apocrine like cells.. to me..]
