Hello SDNers,

Do any of you know if I would have to click yes for this??

During my freshman yr in ug my gpa fell below a 2.0 and I was put on academic probation until my grades went up, I got off of it after 2 quarters, is that what they mean by this question?? I didn't know if it was implying cheating or something...

Were you ever the recipient of any action for unacceptable academic performance, or were you ever the recipient of any action for conduct violations by any college or school? *

Pretty sure "unacceptable academic performance" = academic probation. I would check yes. There should be a section that lets you explain further.

Yup. Fill out that section. This will be one of the most important parts of your application, so make sure you explain the situation to them. Also tell them what you've done to improve since then.

I was on academic probation a few years ago and I've received interviews from a few schools. It's been an uphill battle though. You've got to show you matured and that you're not going to make that mistake again.
