This may be a stupid question, but what did you all wear for your interviews? I dont have a suit, but i have a sports coat and kahkis. Should i definately go by a suit this is what im thinking.

Dress for success. You're gonna end up buying a suit sometime soon, so go ahead and spend the money to look good now.

i wore a suit, tie, etc. the works.

you're going to need one eventually. put up the cash for it now and get some use out of it.

I agree with the comments above.

All the guys at the interviews I have been on wore suits and it does make you more professional.

Though you don't have to buy a suit and can wear the sports coat at one point in your life you will have to wear one and since you probably will not grow in the next 5 years (unless you like to eat  ) it's a good investment.

You don't have to get a $5,000 armani, you can get great deals at 3day suit broker, or Mens wharehouse, or even Nordstrum Rack (that's where I got mine for a great deal!)

Good luck.

I agree: Dark suit (navy, black or gray) White or Powder blue shirt with a tie.

Try to stay away from the very flashy colors that stand out too much and when it comes to putting on some cologne...be moderate so that if the interveiwer doesnt like your smell, it wont cost you acceptance.

Wait a second... nobody told me to wear a suit to the interviews!!!

Although everybody wore it during all my interviews and looked very sharp and conservative (get any ideas?), i chose to wear a white quicksilver t-shirt and red boardshorts with white flowers on it. 😀 and yes, wearing sandles will put the final nail in the coffin (i mean it will most definitely impress your interviewers 😉 ).

Some people said, "Wow... this dude has some guts", while others thought i was an ortho resident 😀
