I'm curious if such a re-review is possible after rejection. While studying for DAT, you got rejected, but after a week or two, you took DAT and got way better competitive score. Since the cycle isn't over, you hope they give another look at your rejected application but with better score. Is this possible? Has anyone done it? Did you get a reversal on the rejection?

i have asked a few schools before. Many said it is extremely unlikely that they will accept u after they have rejected u within the same cycle. It may happen, but unlikely.

However, if they only put ur application on hold, then it's definetly likely that they will re-review ur application when the new number comes in.

specifically, i think it was CASE that told me they only review an application ONCE per cycle, there's no way to be reconsidered once they rejected u.

I am actually curious myself as well. I called Louisville just now and asked them about it. I currently have indicated on my application that I will be retaking in September and some schools have said they're putting my application on hold until my new scores come in and some schools have said that they will go ahead and review my application. Louisville said that they will review it upon completion and it's all about timing. So yes, it is possible for me to get an interview based solely on my first scores. I then ask what happens when my new scores come in, will they re-review my application? She said it depends on the timing.
