I wanted to see if you guys could answer my probably simple question. I have a Core 2 Duo Intel MacBook Pro that I normally run Mac OSX on most of the time. There are a few programs that I need that are Windows only, so I was thinking about using Bootcamp and downloading a free version of Windows 7 from our school server. We get one copy of an OS for free, but it has no product key (not required) and it's a digital download only, not a hard copy. Will that cause any problem with Bootcamp or partitioning? I didn't want to burn through my free download if there was an issue. Thanks!

Nah, it will probably work, as long as you can get an internet connection during setup or shortly thereafter.

You might end up blacklisted with Microsoft when they detected your pirated key. Must turn off updates.

It's not a pirated key, you dingbat, its a volume academic license, perfectly valid.
