Applicant Status at UOP

I just checked my status at UOP (I know it is late and there is really no chance, but..) and it changed today from "File is in review, wait 4-8 weeks" to "final review, wait 4-6 weeks."
Final review isn't explained on their status explanations link, so I was wondering if that is better or worse than re-review.
Any suggestions?

Well, my status just changed yesterday from "File in Review" to "Reviewed, no Decision" 😱
And the comments section says "Re-review in February" 😴

I applied late September... So I think we are both in the same boat, you probably have better stats than me, seeing that you got interviews/acceptances at places that I did'nt hear from yet (Tufts and Creighton) Congrats! 👍

I don't think they have anymore spots at UOP, just look at the "Official Where are you going thread" and you will see for yourself that lots of people have already picked to attend UOP from this site alone (the most popular school by far).

But hang in there, it's never over till we get the rejection letter, right? 🙂

packr, I think you are in a better position at UOP than me. My app. changed from 'file is in review' to 're-review at end of Jan.' Presently, I am waiting patiently by the mailbox for the 'We regret to inform you...' letter from UOP, which I will likely receive any day now. 🙁 Good luck! 👍

I'd rather hear it hear than read it in the letter first.

I just checked mine after reading this thread and it says "final review, allow 4 to 8 weaks" I wonder what it means. In four to 8 weaks will they offer an interview for what, july or august??

I think it means we are hosed.... /cry.

I got a letter saying that they have filled there class, it listed no reason as to why my application had been on hold since Aug/04. Oh well, their loss.

If you call UOP admission's office and press 4 (for admissions status) after the options are listed by the automated phone transfer service voice (or whatever you call it), the message states that all spots for 2005 are full....

I recently called UOP to withdraw my application and the woman I talked to said that because my application had been in final review that meant they would have offered me an interview when and if a date became available. I guess that means that those in final review still have a chance....even though it is slim. I hope this makes some of the UOP hopefulls out there feel better. Good Luck to you all.....oh yeah she also said that they had about 2500 applicants this year and as you probably know they only interview 300.
