Im applying to samford also. Im polishing my personal statement right now but ill probably be submitting pharmcas next week along with my ACT scores. took the pcat in june and didnt do so well so im also waiting on the october test... have you been to the campus? I live three hours away but i want to go take a tour sometime, heard its beautiful.

I live near it I'm at UAB for prepharmacy. What's your major? I'm doing biomedical engneering. Good luck

Cool your right at it. I am a chemistry major at a community college. My chemistry prof. has major ties with the school and I'm trying to get him to get a group together to go down there and tour the campus and talk to them. The staff has been really helpful so far. About 2-3 get in from our school every year. I have a 3.96 overall and 4.0 science and math GPA, I just hope the being from a community college doesn't hold me back any.. plus the PCAT.. i got a 3.52 overall and a 3.77 in math and science. good stats! i hope a 3.52 on biomedical engineering is good. it's suppose to be the hardest major at UAB

I got a rejection letter Saturday in the mail. It's ok because it was just a back-up school for me. But they sent me a page behind the rejection saying if I didn't get into any pharmacy schools this year, to fill out that paper for Samford for next year.

I had an interview at Samford a couple of weeks ago and they said we would hear back on March 2 or 3rd. Has anyone else who went heard anything yet? I already got acceptance from Auburn, but hoping I get into Samford.

Makes sense! I went to Auburn for UG but transferred back home. I do have a little Auburn alliegance and know it's a great pharm school, but their pre-reqs are a little nuts! Yay for you on your acceptance!

I interviewed on the 18th and received my accepted email on this past Monday. However, I will be declining my seat. I did not feel comfortable at my interview and I feel that may translate into my next four years. Also my husband and I want to get out of Bama (been here all my life). So I am headed to Mercer in Atlanta. Good luck to everyone!

Any tips will help and will be greatly appreciated. I'm taking Gen Chem II, Cal II, and physics II now. Taking Organic in the fall with A & P.
