Application complete email

Is our secondary application incomplete without the "application complete" email? I've finished my secondaries, and I've received the "complete" email from some schools, but not all. Everything is in (AMCAS, LORs, secondaries, fees, etc) and I made sure of it. Just wasn't sure whether I had to receive the email to know that I am being considered by the school at present.

Depends on the school! Some send complete emails, some don't. You can probably find the info you're looking for somewhere in this forum: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/forums/2016-2017-allopathic-school-specific-discussions.974/

The vast majority of schools will let you know in some form whether you are complete. For most schools, this is not via email but via the applicant portal. Just log in and check if your status is complete - if it is, check that school off the list and move on to verify other schools.

Thanks! A lot of people were really worried about getting completion emails and whatnot so I thought I should ask..
