is it seen as a red flag if i make a new email account for my med school application

i want to make an email just for med school app cycle.
is it gonna look suspicous that my email account is like 1 month old with no privious history activity? or will adcoms not bother look at that stuff

Actually, it's smart to have a separate/temporary email for the application process. Just make sure you monitor it. You don't want emails accidentally placed in junk/spam or buried in an avalanche of other marketing emails.

25 years ago, we lived in a world when email addresses were expensive so people applied as '[email protected]' which could not be changed to a more professional address.

How would anyone know? I have no idea how to check something like that.
I have been seeing a lot of apps that see if you might be a victim of catfishing should you accept a date with someone on an app... like Truthfinder. We used to have phone reverse-lookup websites to track someone's phone number to see if it is legit.

OP: No, we don't have the time or money to do this.
 
Just to add on to the already wise posters, from the lens of a recent applicant - I did this, had solid success, no one I spoke to ever knew or cared, AND it stopped me from having the heart attacks about IIs and secondaries in the spam inbox. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend making that second email address!
