Hey, I am new here to SDN and just wondered whether there is anyone else who is still trying to get into the 2007 application cycle. The only prerequisites I do not have yet are O-Chem II, Physics II and the DAT. What do you think, can I get an Interview if I have these in May 2007?

First off, you don't need to finish up all the prereqs. before you apply, just as long as you finish all of them by the time you matriculate. As for applying for the 2007 cycle, I think you might be a little bit late but if your GPA is stellar (3.7+) and you manage to take your DAT by the end of november and do really well on it (21+) then i say you should at least get some interviews around jan, feb or march given your other credentials such as volunteering, shadowing experiences..etc. So if you are prepare, I say go for it!👍

don't rush yourself through this.... apply early next year is your best chance. They might get ur application, but never get to it. It will be waste of money/time for u. But, if you have plenty of both then go for it. Good luck!

I agree. AADSAS is so slow. You might think you have a month still, but really AADSAS will sit on your application for a month before sending it out to schools, once you send in your letters of recommendation they will take at least 2 weeks to process. On top of that, many schools once they receive your materials they take weeks to process them and add them to your file. For example, I took my DAT on Aug. 16, and NYU didn't add it to my file until October 27! I thought I was applying early but really it ended up being late because of all the delays.

The exception would be that you are applying to just a few schools and those happen to be the ones with March deadlines. Then I'd go for it.
