How long does it take for the aacpmas to receive and process everything for the app. My MCAT release says complete but aacpmas has yet to receive it and I sent my transcripts last week so I'm wondering how long it will be until the process those.

This happened to me too early in the cycle (other people will get their MCATs in like a day on AACPMAS). Give it another week.

Same thing here. I had my MCAT scores and my transcript sent out on the 1st. The MCAT website says 'Complete' but their system has not registered this yet nor have they received my transcript. I got a little paranoid so I sent out an email about the MCAT score and this was their response:

"Unfortunately, your MCAT scores have not yet arrived. Our system checks through
the scores we have received once a day and matches them to the appropriate
account based on the AAMC ID number listed on your application. In addition, I
have done a manual search and your scores are not here. Please check with AAMC
to determine when your scores will be sent to AACPMAS. From the point your
scores arrive here, it will post to your official test section within 24 hours."

I think having a little more patience is the best route. I would think if they haven't received either by mid next week then it's time to start worrying lol

Give the whole process 3-4 weeks, but keep checking in to see your status. This part is actually the longest part of the application cycle. Within a few weeks (even a few days) you should start hearing from schools for interview invites. From the time of your interview you should also learn in a few weeks whether you were accepted to the schools. I'm pretty sure all of the schools give you a certain number of weeks to then put down a deposit, so try to get all of these interviews around the same time so you have options.

good luck!

Alright cool, I guess a little patience isn't unreasonable.

I'm in the same boat!

I submitted my app on Aug 2nd, and had all my transcript requests as well as mcat scores sent on the 4th. My profile still shows "Not Received" and "No official test scores". I'm just trying to get them in asap for the earliest consideration from the schools.

yeah I submitted and faxed all my transcripts along with their request forms on the first day of the cycle and my transcripts still say not received. Will the change the "not received" when they actually get delivered there or when they check them with the grades you entered (verified them)?

My transcript was finally received! It now says "complete/not verified" with a complete date of 8/7/13. I applied on 8/1 and my transcript was sent out on 8/5. However, my MCAT scores still have not been received.

Edit: MCAT scores also received today, 8/13. Waiting for GPA to be calculated now!

Edit: 8/13 - verified and complete!

Ha! Same here!

"08/09/2013"

"Your application is
Complete/Not Verified
Complete Date: 08/09/13"

And same with the MCAT, still not received. MCAT website says 'complete' though, so I guess more waiting =P

edit: 8/13/13 - MCAT scores were received! Application is still not verified though.

GPA calculations were completed. Application is now completely complete.

"Your application is
Verified"

Just waiting for them to send it out.

Is mid october considered late for the schools to receive everything and start making decisions based on an app? Do a lot of people apply by then/are a lot of seats filled up by then? I have to retake my mcat in mid september and scores won't come out until mid october. Otherwise I will have everything else in to each school

You're still "early" the smallest schools might start to get really full in February

Now to play the waiting game.

Does your guys' application program section have a mailing date yet?

If the cycle is the same as last year, they first mailing date was like the first Wednesday of September.

Aw man! That's the FIRST mailing date? I read this on the FAQ:

AACPMAS digitally transmits completed applications, known as a "bulk mailing" to the schools and colleges of podiatric medicine once a week.

I figured they send it once every week since August 1st (provided everything was verified and completed).

Yup, the first mailing is in September on Wednesdays/Tuesdays I believe.
