Application deadline...yikes!

Can anyone clear this up for me? Does the 10/15 deadline mean my application must be verified and sent to the individual med schools, or does it mean it needs to be received by AMCAS? 😱

From my understanding , Oct. 15 is the deadline for AMCAS to receive your app. (not that you must be verified by then.) However, I think that there are also deadlines around this time for the schools to receive your letters of rec., etc. I would check with the admissions office(s) of the schools you are applying to, just to be safe!

I think that the letters of recommendations are ususally requested by the med schools in the secondary application. And most secondaries are technically due around Feb/March. Please correct me if I am wrong. Thanks!
