Application Finally Mailed OUT!!!!

🙂 I feel obligated to let everyone who's waiting for their aadsas application to be mailed out know that mine was mailed out today 9/26/05. I submitted my application on 8/11/05 so that means that i took 5.5 weeks for the AADSAS ppl to send my application. I hope this will give you a guesstimation as to when yours will be sent out too. 🙂

Me too!!! I submitted mine on 08/10/05. 😀 Now we have to wait for the schools to recieve them. 😳

expect to wait another 1-2 weeks after the "mailed out" date for the schools to actually receive your application 🙄

unless you applied to tufts, then they will ask you for a check within the next few days....

Is AADSAS getting slower than or what? When I first called them, they said they would send it out about 5-6 weeks after your transcript was received. They received my transcripts on the aug. 22 and they still haven't sent it out. I called them again and now they're saying that its 6 weeks exactly your GPA is calculated, which took them a WHOPPING 10 FREAKING DAYS!

Now I have to wait another 2 weeks for my freaking application to be sent...and judging by this forum, it looks like alot of spots for interviews have already been taken.

AADSAS is run by a bunch of freaking boneheads. I put so much time and effort and money into my apps, letters of rec, whatnot. and now I'm starting to feel like I might really not have much of a shot b/c AADSAS appears to be really delaying things.

I hope some representatives from AADSAS read this forum. If you are, here's a middle finger and a bitter "I hope you get fired."

Look at it this way...everyone you are competing against, for the most part, is going through the same thing with AADSAS. AADSAS isnt being partial in this process, so the quality and timing of your application speaks for itself.

I know! FINALLY! I had checked my status so many times for the past few weeks that I didn't expect it to be mailed out. Especially not since a little over 4 weeks had passed since my GPA was calculated (Aug23).

Now what I don't understand is how if they sent it UPS, how it can take 2 weeks to get to where it's going. Even with regular mail it shouldn't take that long I wouldn't think...
