Hello,

Something I see emphasized commonly among successful med school applicants is having a narrative/theme to your application. My ECs and such do not revolve around a specific disease or patient population that I know is most common for these narratives.

However, I have a lot of experiences with medical innovation, including significant translational research, internships for startups, being heavily involved in my own medical device startup, etc. I was wondering if centering your application around innovation is a valid theme?

P.S. If it is valid, it would be awesome if you can provide some schools that do value this theme 🙂

Thank you for reading and answering!
