Hello,

Something I see emphasized commonly among successful med school applicants is having a narrative/theme to your application. My ECs and such do not revolve around a specific disease or patient population that I know is most common for these narratives.

However, I have a lot of experiences with medical innovation, including significant translational research, internships for startups, being heavily involved in my own medical device startup, etc. I was wondering if centering your application around innovation is a valid theme?

P.S. If it is valid, it would be awesome if you can provide some schools that do value this theme :)

Thank you for reading and answering!

Dell Medical school in Austin TX also values creativity and innovation.
There are several TX schools on this list, would help if your "broncos country" is in Texas :hattip:
