I just submitted my application at AMCAS. When I logged back in, it said my application was on hold. Why? "Supporting Docs".

Underneath that, though, it said that they had received both of my transcripts. So what gives?

NO WORRIES......same thing happened to a lot of ppl including me.....it's put on hold for approx. 2 days then it should go active....so check back by wednesday and it should be active....it's not a problem so don't stress about it...🙂

Mine was on hold for "supporting docs" for three or four days and then went active. I've now been active and "in line to begin the verification process" since 7/10.

thank goodness for searches... i had the same hold option and was confused why since all my transcripts are already there (sent them out wayyyyy back so i dont become hysterical trying to find out where they are). okay so ill give it til the end of the week and hopefully by then it will be certified and all that good stuff. good luck to everyone applying

I just submitted my application last night and my application is on hold for supporting documents. I just graduated in May but am taking classes at the same university in the fall, so I listed them under a separate section as post-bacc classes. Now my application is saying it is missing a transcript for these future classes. What should I do about this?

doctorwannabe- call amcas and ask them what to do about the situation. there MIGHT be a copy of the transcript at the college you are planning on taking classes already so thats another alternative (check there and maybe they might have it).

4 Ever- I'm not sure what you are mean when you say there might be a transcript, since I haven't taken the classes yet and won't have a grade. I actually emailed AMCAS and they said that I should have requested a transcript exemption and that they will change the error. It still hasn't been fixed, so hopefully they will do it soon so my application can be processed.

for myself, i have yet to take my classes for the fall but i am registered and they have shown up on my transcript as attempted credits (though I have yet to take them). that is what I was referring to. At least the transcript exemption thing will work out for you
