so, two schools have put my application on hold and they're waiting on my fall's grade. How good is this anyway? does it mean rejection later even getting good grades or something else. thanks in advance

well, I"m happy they haven't rejected me early. but I just dont know what it means?

It means they're undecided on your app. It's not good enough to grant an interview, but it's not bad enough to reject. They're waiting for more information, so go study.
