Just wanted to field some thoughts here... What schools should I consider applying to? I won't be applying until May 2018 for the 2019 cycle. I live in Massachusetts.
I have a low GPA (3.1 cumulative, 3.0 science) w/ a strong upward trend from a top LA undergrad institution - I am currently addressing my GPA w/ a DIY PB (I have a 4.0 through 2 classes --> plan on taking 6-7 total classes). My MCAT is a 504, will be retaking this September (Had a bad day when I took it). EC's are solid (thousands of hours as ENT scribe, M&M secretary). I am working really hard and trying to make this comeback story complete!
Also... do DO schools offer pre-med advising? How can I network w/ the schools I am interested in to get my foot-in-the door?
