Hello! This is my first post. I'm quite anxious and I don't know if this is a big deal or not. I submitted by transcript to AAMC before my final grades (junior year) were in. So, they are written in my transcript but neither the grades nor the classes for my final semester are 'confirmed.' Will this cause me to get screened out? It doesn't have an impact on my GPA that is meaningful (maybe 3.95--> 3.96), but I'm worried that it will look strange or just cause me to get dropped. Has anyone had this experience? Also, MCAT 515 if that helps

As long as any necessary science classes are listed along with their expected completion, you should be fine. Pretty much every primary submitted by a rising senior may be missing some necessary courses (including final grades); medical schools expect this and will likely not bat an eye unless you are missing a large amount of science courses.

Also, sending updated transcripts to AMCAS later won’t change your calculated GPAs, FYI. It’s kinda too late at this point to have any meaningful effect, so you’ll just have to let it play out.

That makes sense, thank you so much for your help!
