I was wondering.. is everybody applying to MD and DO planning on writing two different personal statements? Also, how long does filling out the primary application? Is it just attaching the personal statement with information and volunteer activities you have been involved in?

Do you guys know how long the AACOMAS processing time is? I submitted my app in June and it still says processing. I also uploaded my MCAT scores and it says MCAT scores not yet received. Please help.

The primary application for both AMCAS and AACOMAS takes a few hours and could be shorter if you have previously written your activities descriptions (your PS should be done ahead of time). You also have to enter all classes taken along with the proper semester, this is what takes the longest.

I submitted AACOMAS the first day it was available and they still took 4 weeks to get me verified. They're very, very slow! Also, they take a few days to receive MCAT scores that you release to them, maybe even up to more than a week.
