So I was verified June 2 and sent my AACOMAS and the AAMC apps to about 25 DO schools. and 10 MD

I received many secondaries and sent them back very quickly. The first one I submitted was around july 3 or 4th.

I have received many emails saying that my application is under review but nothing further.
Is this a good thing? Is no news... good news? Am I on a wait list or re-review list? I havent been denied just left in the dark. It is almost 3 weeks now.

I just want to know is this normal? Wouldn't they send emails either staying denied or Interview invite by now?

Patience is your friend. Each school evaluates apps in its own way...your time will come! It's a long cycle...you'll never survive if you keep up with the worrying. Find something on Netflix!

LOL definitely. But I have seen other people say they received feedback already from some schools. That makes me nervous.

Patience is a virtue, the need for instant gratification is not.


Schools stratify the apps as they come in and don't send out secondaries or IIs merely in chronological order.


Secondaries are often a tax on the hopelessly naïve, if not pathologically optimistic.

pretty sure most schools haven't even looked at apps yet.
I've only heard back from 4 out of 23 schools so far

As of this morning all the interview slots for 2018-19 are taken. Better luck next cycle.
