i was talking to a friend (who is pre-dent) and she said that their application process starts in the middle of may? i wanted to make sure that it was not like that for optometry app process and that most opt schools start taking apps aug-sept...any type of clarification on this would be helpful!

suny starts the earliest. i think they began in may, but keep checking their website regardless of what the admissions office said. last yr, i called and asked in feb and they told me it started in aug so when i checked in july, i was already 2 months behind. berkeley is the latest that starts mid sept, but everyone else is either beginning of aug or sept. hope that helps.

For PCO, I sent in my app as soon as they'd take it, which was Sept. 1. Good luck!
